The Calgary International Film Festival, presented by Servus Credit Union, returns in 2026 for its 27th year! Bringing the best of local, Canadian, and international cinema culminates in eleven days of celebration from September 24 to October 4, 2026.
CIFF is one of Western Canada’s largest and most influential film festivals, showcasing hundreds of feature films, documentaries, and shorts from Alberta, across Canada, and around the world.
Audiences can experience screenings alongside Q&As, red carpet events, live music, art installations, special events, and more. CIFF also brings Alberta’s vibrant film industry together through Industry Conference, featuring talks, panels, networking opportunities, and keynote speakers. Accredited industry professionals, emerging creators, students, and film lovers come together to celebrate and connect through the art of cinema.
Screenings will be hosted by our partners at Globe Cinema, The
Plaza Theatre, The GRAND, Contemporary Calgary (opening night only), and Cineplex Chinook Theatre.
